Emerald Isle

I was getting tired and bored of the daily routine life throws at me, I can't take it anymore, I must break free and follow my heart, all those years of waiting and being afraid to travel alone, I finally took the courage to set forth and pack my bags and go.  I was longing to see Europe, I'm fascinated by the romantic scenery, the beauty of the old buildings and the history of the castles.
It took me a while which country I would live and do something worthy of my time. Aah finally the name castle street sparks in my heart and so I decided to go to the Emerald Isle, the Republic of Ireland.

In 2012 my journey begins....The land of the four leaf clover and the leprechaun.

For the first time I felt so free and so happy to see this green clover. I knew it very well that its a positive sign.

Glad I got a map to check where I am, sitting on the bench at st Stephen's green park Dublin with a tire feet. I think I am lost and it makes it more exciting!

Hiking at the Morha mountain to see the hidden lake with my best dog Holly!

Aah so breath taking view, I'm on top of the world.
The beautiful city of Waterford during the summer of 2012

Irish young lads showing their musical talents at
Grafton Street Dublin, the famous shopping area.

Love to walk every morning and stare at the beautiful Ormonde castle.

Oh I have so many pictures to show you but it cannot be place in one page alone. I will have to continue to the next page of my journey .....

The City of Smile

I was born in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental Philippines. It's called the city of smile because of the friendly locals. People welcome you with a smile and by the time you go, it puts a smile in your face thinking about the memories you had in this city.

In the middle of a developing city, the green park is well preserved. This is our Public plaza or shall I call it the city center. All local transportation pass around this area so you won't get lost.

If you are hungry try the famous Grilled Chicken Barbeque called Chicken Inasal bacolod's best specialty serve mostly in the restaurants. I would recommend the Manukan country, beside the SM shopping mall in the city center or if you fancy a nice restaurant, then go to Chicken House.

Going to Bacolod Philippines by plane or by boat from major cities like Manila, cebu and Davao direct flights, you can check local airlines online.

The Bacolodnon speak the dialect called Hiligaynon or Illonggo. Teach you few phrases:

Hello - Hi / Musta
Good morning - Maayong AGA
Good evening - Maayong Gab-I
Gamay - Small
Dako - Big
Where are you going? Di in ka makadto?
I miss you - nahidlaw na ako sa imo
I love you - Palangga ta ka

The best time to visit the city of smile is during the month of October where the famous Masskara festival is held. It's the merriest and the most colorful festival in the Philippines.

Accomodations/hotels I would suggest you check online at  booking.com and agoda.com for safe and reliable website. You can reserve without paying first, these are my favorite and trusted sites when travelling.

Welcome!

Life is a journey, it's all up to us how we make it interesting. We're born in this world with blank pages and as we grow up this pages will record the good and bad memories that last a lifetime.
Happy reading!
